In Europe, the indexes closed mixed at the end of the day’s trading,
In New York trading today, treasury prices at the long end of curve are up sending yields lower. The benchmark 10-year bond is down 3.0 basis points, yielding 3.47% and is currently trading 42.0 basis points lower than it was a year ago. The 2-year note is down 1.0 basis point, yielding 0.80%, while the 30-year long bond is also down 2.0 basis points, yielding 4.52%. At the short end of the curve, 3-month T-bills are virtually unchanged and yield 0.10%.
Front month light sweet crude futures are up $0.95, or 0.91%, at $105.22 a barrel in after-hours Nymex electronic trading. Gold futures are up $7.80, or 0.55%, at $1,431.60 an ounce in after-hours electronic trading. Corn futures closed unchanged at $0.07 a bushel in the last trading session.
